Dentures???

I went to the dentist a month ago, and was told I needed 24 teeth pulled, which is all of my upper ones and most of the lowers ones. The dentist told me they only pull four at a time, and I would need an entire upper denture, and two partials for either jaw in the lower. The partials would clamp onto the lower ones I'd retain. I have about four abcessed teeth, as well.

But, I have no dental insurance....whatsoever....and I'm not having all these teeth pulled if I can't afford the replacements....I wouldn't have any jaw teeth.... What are all my options? Is there some place that offers an affrodable monthly plan, or inexpensive dental insurance?

Dentures???
Medical clinics may remove the teeth, but dentures you will have to pay for. There are dental credit cards you can apply for as well
Reply:depending on what state you live in, try your local county medical clinic. or county hospital. also dental schools will often do dental work for next to nothing in price. dental schools i know of are in south carolina, n.c. and loma linda california.
Reply:Find a foreign trained, (unlicensed in the U.S.), dentist thats practicing dentistry in his residence!

or go to Mexico! affordable dentistry there!
Reply:Do NOT go to Mexico or let any one touch you who isn't licensed in the US. I work in a dental office and the things we have seen that were done by dr in Mexico not pretty. Try looking for a discount plans or drs that will give a discount for cash paying pts. But u need to get the abcessed teeth taken care of asap. Are dentures the only option he gave you? if so go for a second opinion. Hopefully you can save some of your teeth.

Try ameriplan.com or just google discount dental plans
Reply:i'm a dental student, juz try to find dental school and a students who need patient for denture placement... maybe they will give you free charge

gud luck ^_^
