Dentures from Mexico ?

I need a set of dentures top and bottom that means they have to extract all my teeth at once. Since everything is so expensive here I want to go to Mexico. Did anybody go there and how was the experience

Dentures from Mexico ?
Mexican dentistry is the same there as is here...some is good, some is bad. But, you cannot beat the cost, that is for sure. Many of my friends head down to Tiajuana for medical work, ... teeth, especially plastic surgery...all have had great work done at greatly lower costs than can be found here...and besides, you get a vacation..sore mouth and all...think of it this way...cold margaritas are very cheap there...you can get all but drunk to get rid of the pain...and, believe it or not, Mexico has pain pills just like they do here. Go for it...what have you got to loose...besides your teeth, that is. Good luck The only problem I can forecast is...many people, with new dentures, have some real fit problems that don't go away without rebuilds or new....Not all, but some. Hopefully, you will not be one of them...the only advantage in local dentures is the fix is free. But, they will take casts of your mouth as it is before your teeth are extracted, the dentures will be built based upon that cast...Yes, your gums will receed in time, but everyone's do. You will have to have new ones at some date in the future....go back to Mexico..what happens in Mexico stays in Mexico!
Reply:The don't use teeth there, they have little pet parrots that chew food and spit it into your mouth. Its true it was on discovery channel. I believe everything they say.
Reply:Yes go to http://www.escapeartist.com/efam/43/Dent... There are clinic there that specializes in just that!Dental Work In Mexico: Getting New Choppers On The Cheap ~ By Mexicojerry
Reply:Don't listen to cheeseballs. Apparently that person doesn't know what hardship is and prefers to joke about serious matters such as this. In answer to your question, my sister got hers done there for $250.00 and they were great. Only thing is that she didn't go back for the final fitting and that's her fault. You have to keep your appointments. Hers are a bit loose because she didn't go back. She only had the top denture but her experience was very good.
Reply:Don't go to Mexico. Ever heard the expression you get what you pay for? I would recommend that you go to a dental school in your area. You will get excellent quality dentures that fit and they will be about 1/3 the cost of a private practice dentist. There are denture clinics that make dentures in one day for about $200 each but again we are moving into the realm of "you get what you pay for".
