Have no teeth just dentures from the the moment my teeth were removed my gums are sore?
Hi Linda, don't get disheartened by what Manonthestreet has said above. He might be gentler at other times. In the bunch of idiots on this forum there are dentists as well. The dentists will provide you the professional directions while others tell you their experiences. This prepares you well to face your dentist, as he will know that a well informed patient is not so gullible.
It would be better for you to put your dentures aside (use only for meals) while you take care of your gums, preferably through professional advice or OTC products like oragel, etc. and watch the slow healing process. Once in shape, have the fit of dentures rechecked for possible relining or maybe a change. If declared a good candidate, you may also opt for implant supported dentures, if you can afford. There is however no alternative to paying for the professional advice. Good luck.
Reply:When it comes to your teeth, why are you seeking answers from a bunch of idiots on a website who know nothing about dentistry? Are you crazy? Go see a REAL dentist.
Reply:I had all of my teeth out and didn't get dentures for like 9 months. I had a hard time trying to get used to them since I was used to no teeth. They weren't very good quality or workmanship and never really fit well. I just parked my teeth and go without. I haven't had a real problem since. I guess some people think I look a little strange with no teeth but that's their problem.
Reply:I would suggest going to a dentist and either have the denture adjusted or get a new one...After 6months of having teeth removed and denture place ur bone will shrink and ur denture will need a reline..I dont know about the pain though...thatsrare for there to bepain after 3yrs...Or u could ask ur dentist to send u to a periodontist.
