Actually alot of dentist rely on their assistants to do the "little" stuff however I do believe that the dentist should be present or atleast check the impressions before they are sent out for relining. I am a Dental Technician and work in a lab so I see this kind of stuff all the time. If you are paying everytime to have your dentures relined I can assure you that your dentist is not!!!! You should say something to them most definately because it is not the assistant getting paid for his job!!! I know that dentists these days let alot of their responsibilities be taken by their employees so say something.
Reply:Yes, he should.
Reply:Dentists often let their assistants to do the relines. If you are unhappy with them, let them know so they can fix them.
