Anyone ever get teeth out due to condition/crooked and gotten dentures, bridges something like that? they really are that bad and if i want to get every tooth fixed it costs so much more.
im scared about the pain and dont want it to turn out horrible
Im 28- should I get dentures???
First, I would do everything possible to save as many teeth as possible. Yes, depending on what is needed you may have need a lot of work and it may be expensive. Visit your dentist and see what you need. Then ask about financing options, etc. or do one side at time until your mouth is restored. In the long run...dentures this early is not going to be ideal unless all your teeth are beyond repair- if that is the case..then you may want to ask your dentists about implant retained dentures.
Reply:Dentures would require you having to remove a lot of your teeth-and you'd wear dentures over bare gums which can be very painful. Talk to your dentist about veneers first-they actually use your teeth to glue them to and they can do some very beautiful work! It's expensive, and since you're so young you may need them redone again down the road, but I've seen some incredible results! Good Luck!
Reply:Sweetie, isn't there anyway you can get braces for the crookedness? Or if your teeth are decayed, are they in too bad of shape to crown or cap? Dentures is a last resort. Please contact an orthodonist before you make this move.
Reply:AND WHEN U WILL SLEEP AT NIGHT U WILL HAVE TO KEEP THE DENTURES IN WATER.
AND WHEN YOU ARE EATING LUNCH AT RESTAURANT AND A STICKY THINGS TAKES THE DENTURE OUT HOW IT WILL LOOK?
Reply:What about lumineers or veeners to fix your front teeth that are crooked?
Reply:I think you're putting the cart before the horse. To replace crooked teeth with a denture is like throwing the baby out with the bath water.
#1 get yourself in to a dentist and see what work you need done.
#2 Crooked teeth are usual a job for an Orthodontist and braces are a much better option than having all your teeth removed. By the time you'd pay for all of the teeth being removed and dentures placed, you'd probably be up to the approximate cost for having ortho tx done. Do the ortho!!
#3 You are very young and to take out all those teeth at such an early age will mean that by the time you are a senior citizen you will most likely have no ridge for a denture to sit on anymore,so you would have a tough time eating, among a lot of other things.
#4 Take care of your teeth when you are young and they will take care of you when you are old.
Reply:well, if you get dentures then its nawt gonna hurt cause if its anything like getting a tooth pulled which it is they give you a shot and then you cant feel anything. I just hate the sound of the tooth coming out (crack, crackcrack) Yuuuck
I wouldnt at 28 get invisiline it will help straighten without the pain of braces!
