What is the cost of dentures?

I want to have all my top teeth pulled and replaced with dentures.I live in Ontario,Canada.Does anyone know of the average cost for this procedure?

What is the cost of dentures?
Look at about 75-150 per tooth for extractions, then about 1000-2000 for the upper plate depending on the materials.

The extractions are usually done in stages so be prepared to be without some teeth off and on untill the procedure is complete.

They may want to leave some teeth in. Some denists are against pulling healthy teeth. Also, having a few teeth left will help 'anchor" the plate.
Reply:Costs will vary depending on where you live and your needs. Prosthodontists' prices are typically between $500 to $2,500 per upper or lower arch. Cosmetic Dentist fees are usually $300 to $1,200 per arch. This is a procedure for which you should definitely research your dental insurance coverage. Much of the cost is often covered.
Reply:GO TO DENTURES. COM THEY HAVE REALLY CHEAP PRICES AND YOU DONT PAY FOR X-RAYS
Reply:oh u are going to love them no more problems with pain in your gums or teeth bleeding. i got mine and my lowers were250 and my top were 250 so i paid 500 for both.
Reply:there are cheap ones that don't work well and then there are the you get what you pay for ones.

one bit of advice- if there is any way - any of your teeth can be saved= it would be in your best long term interest to go with partial dentures. the partial dentures will offer you more security in that they will not move around on you- ESPECIALLY the lower one. lowers do not have the benefit of the suction the upper denture forms in the palate thus making it a little more secure. lowers have to fight your tongue and rest on a narrow ridge that will only become more narrow the older you get.
Reply:i just got my dentures (top and bottom) and they cost me 2800.00 for them and then the dentist wanted to charge me another 500.00 to put a permanent liner in them. of course i told him no, you don't always need that if they are made right.
