Silly question for anyone who wears dentures?

Is there any kind of gum you can chew without it sticking to your dentures? I've tried several different brands, but still cannot find one that doesn't stick ... and I miss chewing gum!!

Silly question for anyone who wears dentures?
I miss chewing gum too.My sister also wears dentures but she can chew dentene and freedent without it sticking to her dentures. However I can't.Gum seems to melt in my mouth now.I have went 18 years without chewing gum.Oh how I miss it.:^)
Reply:i do not think there is coz the denture can not replace your natural teeth , i think implants can solve this problem.
Reply:Serious answer to your question is a bit expensive though; get implants overdenture ($15k) and soon you will find enjoying once again your favourite habit - chewing gum - besides getting back to other better healthy activities like foods/fruits, and of course peanuts.
Reply:Freedent seems to work best for me, I was never a big gum chewer when I had real teeth so it is not something I crave but I have successfully chewed freedent.

I think that if your dentures fit properly and are very clean, then freedent could be the answer. Do you use and sort of adhesive?
