What works best to hold dentures in?

Im having a horrible time with my dentures, I've tried pink guey stuff, the wafers, powder. and couple other things. They all gag me after hardly any time in my mouth and that makes me nauseous.. So I really could use some help here.. Theres got to be something I can try a home remedy that keeps me from gaging, anything along those lines that would help, Im feeling very hopeless about this. I just got my dentures relined about 2 and ahalf months ago. and 95 % of the time there in 20 minutes out they come because of my gag reflex or the stuff just makes me sick.. HELP PLEASE!

What works best to hold dentures in?
Fixodent works the best for me and all i have is a partial..
Reply:Implant supported dentures is your best alternative. (not mini but regular)The implants also keep the bone from deteriorating as it most certainly will in time. The implants act like our roots. You can have a minimum of two and your denture can be modified to snap onto the implants. Upper dentures the roof can also be cut away improving taste and gag reflex.
Reply:You should go and have them relined, they should fit(if they are relatively new)well without adhesive. You need to go talk to the dentist, sometimes a minor, minor adjustment can make all the difference in the world, plus you paid big bucks for them, and if they don't fit right, they need to fix them!!!
Reply:your denture is ill fitting either due to a manufacture fault...or as u say u have a strong gag reflex u naturally unintentionally try to throw it out.. relinening and rebasing is done for this purpose.. certain adhesives are also used...so u shud just go to the dentist who made it and tell him abt ur complain
Reply:It sounds like you have a difficult case.

were you gagging before the reline? if not, perhaps the dentures are pushing back or against your tongue too much and require some releif by grinding it back at the dentist. This will only potentially reduce the gagging, and probably won't make them stick.

Perhaps you might consider getting treated by a prosthodontist (not a dental prosthesist) A prosthodontist is a dentist who specialises in difficult denture cases.

Perhaps you have very little bone support and a prosthodonist (who gets all of the very difficult cases from dentists) would know the best ways of tackling your problem.

Implant supported dentures as already mentioned may be an option as well.

As far as using adhesives to stick them in, if you are still gagging with them in, there is no glue or screw that will keep them in.
Reply:look for the paper lineing to hole your teeth in

they just came out with them and their made by the ppl who puts outfixadent
