put in and gums hurt and you took dentures out and now teeth will not go back in mouth.My gums are swollen and hurt baddddddd

it happens many times you take them out over night and the next day are tide,keep them on do not worry
Reply:You'll have to wait for the swelling to go down before you can put the denture back in. Most dental offices don't want you taking your denture out, after extractions, for a few weeks to avoid just this thing. Try taking some Ibuprofen and rinsing your mouth with warm salt water.
Reply:Try rinsing your mouth with ice water and soaking the denture in ice water and then put it in. Also you may try a topical anesthetic like benzodent to apply to your gums then gently put them by applying even pressure all over them as you try to seat them on your gums.


Also use ice packs on your face- 20 minutes on 20 off.





How recent were your extractions? Do you have full uppers and lowers?
